Welcome to my blog! I LOVE fragrances..and this is where I document my journey through fragrances, chemistry, engineering, and scientific curiosity. Here, I share educational articles, personal reflections, and discoveries inspired by my interest in fragrance science, STEM, and lifelong learning. Each post represents another step in my growth as a student, researcher, and future chemical engineer.
School STEM Project
Throughout my STEM journey, I have enjoyed exploring scientific and engineering concepts through hands-on projects. One project involved designing and building a DIY water wheel to understand renewable energy and the conversion of flowing water into mechanical motion. While the model successfully demonstrated the basic concept, I realized that choosing more suitable materials, such as lighter and more efficient paddle designs, could have improved its performance and stability.
Another memorable project was creating a miniature terrarium to explore ecosystems, plant growth, and environmental balance. Unfortunately, the plants did not survive as expecte. Because I believe excessive watering may have reduced oxygen around the roots, preventing healthy growth. Although the outcome was not successful, it taught me an important lesson: scientific investigations often require careful observation, testing, and adjustment. Failure became an opportunity to understand how environmental conditions influence plant health and reinforced the importance of learning through experimentation.
These experiences strengthened my curiosity, problem-solving skills, and appreciation for the engineering design process, where every result, whether successful or not, provides valuable knowledge for future improvements.
