Well, my interest in fragrances did not begin with expensive niche or private-line fragrances or maybe a fragrance collection. Like many people, it started with simple fragrances I wore when I was younger. At kindergarten, I wore Master Kids perfume, and they smell very "barbershopy" and also fragrances what my dad wore such as Yves Saint Laurent Y Eau de Parfum: versatile freshie and smell like a synthetic apple bodywash, BUT I enjoyed how they smelled, but I never really thought about how they were made or why different fragrances smelled so unique.

As I got older, my interest began to grow when I discover alot more fragrances in social media trends and shops. One of the moments that sparked my curiosity was receiving my first designer fragrance: Dior Sauvage Eau de Parfum. It truly caught my attention.l The scent felt fresh, clean, and energetic! A bright and fresh opening with a woody drydown, so it means its very versatile. This fragrance is the reason why I keep digging and exploring new fragrances because this is very different than what I experienced. People might say this is a yk, overrated..well true, beacuse it overused...BUT it made me realize that fragrances could be so much more complex than I thought. For the first time, I noticed that fragrances could have different personalities, scents, and experiences. Some felt fresh, or maybe fruity while others felt deeper, sweeter, and more complex. This made me wonder what caused these differences and how fragrances were created.

Over time, I started learning about fragrance notes, fragrance families, and the ingredients that make up a perfume. Also, buy AlOT of fragrances like YSL's, Valentino's, Armani, Viktor and Rolf's, JPG's, you name it! I got designers and they are very pricey. Now, I'm planning to get NICHE ones. What's a niche? Niche in fragrances are brands that mainly create perfumes like Creed, PDM's, Xerjoff, MFK, Mancera, etc.

Usually WAY more expensive than designers but that doesn't mean its better or high quality, it means uniqueness and artistic. Showing how diverse perfumery can be. What matters the most is the experience it creates and memories it leaves behind. I enjoy exploring both sides and learning about them.

What began as a simple hobby gradually turned into a genuine interest. Instead of only wearing fragrances, I became curious about the science behind them.. Questions like "How fragrances are formulated?", "Why do they last different amounts of time?", and "How environmental conditions affect their performance became increasingly interesting to me?".

This curiosity also connected with my broader interest in STEM. Fragrances are not just artistic creations; they are also influenced by chemistry, physics, and engineering principles. Concepts such as evaporation, diffusion, concentration, and temperature all play a role in how a fragrance performs.

Today, I continue to explore both fragrances and STEM through learning, research, and planning a personal projects. So, this website serves as a place to document that journey, share what I learn, and track my growth over time. While I am still at the beginning of that journey, I am excited to continue exploring new ideas and discovering more about the science behind the products we use every day.

What started as simply wearing fragrances has become a lasting interest in understanding them.
